Description
We have a thirst for coffee, friendship, laughter, mutual support and exploring God’s word in a relaxed atmosphere where everyone’s opinion counts and no-one is judged. We use bible study notes but allow the conversation to adapt and head off in directions that address individual concerns and needs, often ending up with more questions than answers but with our thirst quenched until the next meeting!
Current Study:
Zoom meetings for support and prayer.

A group of mum’s with younger children who regularly meet to connect and read through a book or study a section of the bible. The group is made up of mum’s with children in preschool or elementary school.

A mid week group that currently meets on zoom for bible study, prayer and encouragement.

Serve
Volunteer in Ministry
For musicians and vocalists that are willing to give of their talents. If you sing and/or play any instrument including drums, bass, piano, acoustic/electric guitar or other, apply for the music team! Involvement includes participation in any/all events where music is supported.
Each week we serve the community through a food share and delivery service. If you are interested in serving our neighbors, sign up!

An important but often overlooked part of ministry is getting rooms and sites ready for people to attend in a safe and comfortable environement. From setting up chairs to putting up signs it all helps people to worship and be served. Get in touch if you think you can help.
Prayer underguirds all that takes place at LBC. We recognise it is easy to become too busy to remember to pray so we have a team of people who are committed to supporting ministries and workers in prayer.
