What to Expect

What to Expect at Our Sunday Service

Whether you’re new to church or have been coming for years, you are warmly invited to join us for our Sunday service at Leominster Baptist Church. Our time together is welcoming and relaxed, with a mix of uplifting worship, prayer, and an encouraging message from the Bible. There’s space for reflection, joy, and community, and we love to see people of all ages and backgrounds coming together to worship.

If you’re visiting for the first time, don’t worry—there’s no pressure to do anything you’re not comfortable with. Just come as you are! After the service, we’d love for you to stay for a chat over tea and coffee, where you can meet friendly faces and feel part of our church family.

We look forward to welcoming you! If you have any questions before you come, please feel free to get in touch.

What to Expect

When you join us for a service, you can expect a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere where you can feel at home. Our time together includes inspiring music to help create a sense of worship and a thoughtful message that speaks to real life—helping you reflect, grow, and discover the joy of a relationship with God.

We want everyone to feel comfortable and included, so we do our best to make our services easy to follow, with plenty of guidance along the way. If it’s your first time, there’s no need to worry—you’ll find plenty of friendly faces happy to help.

During the service, we take up a collection, but this is mainly for our members and regular attendees. If you’re visiting, please don’t feel any pressure to give—we’re just glad to have you with us!

We’d love for you to come along and see what it’s all about. You’re always welcome!

Every Sunday, we gather for our weekly service at 10:30 AM, and we’d love for you to join us! Our doors open at 10:00 AM, so feel free to come early, grab a coffee, and settle in before the service begins. It’s a great chance to meet friendly faces and feel at home.

You’re welcome to park in the courtyard in front of the church, but please note that it tends to fill up quickly.

Additional parking is available along Etnam Street, and you can also park behind The Chequers pub, just opposite the church—free of charge all day on Sundays.

We see children as part of the family so they normally stay with parents for the first part of the morning meeting and then go out when the children’s programmes start.

In the mornings there is a creche area available for parents with babies and toddlers. There are also groups for children up to age 18.We love having children as part of our church family! They usually stay with their parents for the first part of the service before heading off to their own fun and engaging groups when the children’s programs begin

For our youngest visitors, there’s a creche area available for parents with babies and toddlers. We also have groups for children and young people up to age 18, providing a safe and welcoming space for them to learn, play, and grow in their faith.

We know that faith can bring up big questions—and that’s okay! Many of us started out with doubts and curiosity too. Our hope is that this will be a place where you can be yourself, explore faith at your own pace, and ask any questions you have. If you have concerns, we’re here to listen. And if you just want to come along and see what we’re about—without any pressure or commitment—that’s completely fine too.

For thousands of years, Jesus has been transforming lives, and we believe he is so much more than a story or wishful thinking. But we also know that simply hearing about him isn’t the same as experiencing him for yourself.

So, whenever you’re ready, whenever you have time, we invite you to come and see.

And if you ever need help, support, advice, or just a friendly ear, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’d love to be there for you.
