Welcome to Leominster Baptist Church.

We know visiting a church for the first time can feel unfamiliar — especially if you’re not sure what to expect. Whether you’ve followed Jesus for years, are exploring faith for the first time, or are simply looking for a church community, you are genuinely welcome here.

What We’re About

Our heart is simple:

Helping everyone, everywhere, have an everyday relationship with Jesus.

We believe church is more than a service to attend. It’s a people learning to follow Jesus together — supporting one another, growing together, and seeking to bring hope into everyday life.

What Are Sundays Like?

Our Sunday gatherings usually include:

  • Worship through music
  • Prayer
  • Bible teaching
  • Space to reflect and respond
  • Community and conversation

Some Sundays are more reflective, some more celebratory — but we aim for all of them to help people encounter Jesus in a real and meaningful way.

Our main gathering starts at 10:30am.

What About Children & Young People?

We love having children and young people as part of church life.

Most Sundays include groups for different ages during part of the service, led by trained and DBS-checked volunteers. Families are always welcome to keep children with them too — there’s no pressure.

What Should I Wear?

Whatever you feel comfortable in.

Some people dress casually, others more smartly. There’s no dress code.

Will I Be Singled Out?

No.

You won’t be asked to stand up, speak publicly, or do anything uncomfortable. You’re free to join in as much or as little as you’d like.

Tea, Coffee & Conversation

Before the service there is a chance to grab a coffee and after the service, many people stay around for tea, coffee, and conversation. It’s a great way to meet people and begin getting connected at your own pace.

Exploring Faith?

You don’t need to have everything figured out to come to church.

Questions are welcome. Doubts are welcome. Curiosity is welcome.

Can we pray for you?

Life can be beautiful, complicated, joyful, and heavy — sometimes all at once. Whatever season you’re in, we would be honoured to pray for you. Whether you’re facing a challenge, carrying worry, grieving, searching for direction, or simply wanting someone to stand with you in prayer, you don’t have to carry it alone. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with using the form below, and someone from the church will pray for you. You are not alone.
